The Star Model BKM, a compact aluminum-framed 1911-style handgun made by Star Bonifacio Echeverria from 1972 to 1997.

The Star Model BKM was a semi-automatic 1911-style pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum and produced by Spanish gun manufacturer Star Bonifacio Echeverria from 1972-1997 (the year of their closing).

This handgun is more or less identical to the Star Model BM, but instead uses an aluminum frame, which was a response to the growing demand in the U.S. for smaller, lighter firearms that could be more easily concealed and that were chambered in the 9x19mm Parabellum.
