The Marlin Model 7000, a semi-automatic target rifle previously made by Marlin. It features a heavy target barrel and no sights. Pictured with a scope and sling.

The Marlin Model 7000 was a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle that was manufactured by Marlin. It came with a heavy target barrel and no open sights. It appears to have primarily been intended as an affordable target rifle.

The Marlin 7000 is part of the Marlin 60 / 7000-series and its action is basically identical to the one found in the Model 60 (except for being fed by an external magazine), and identical to the Marlin 795 and Marlin 70P rifles. Other than some minor difference in stock design, barrel profile, take-down capability, etc.

Models / Variants

The Model 7000 came in two main variants.
