Pink Pistols
The Pink Pistols are an American (and Canadian) gun rights organization that focus on gun ownership and self defense within the LGBT community. The organization was founded in the year 2000 by libertarian activist Doug "Krikket" Krick. The Pink Pistols' motto is "Pick on someone your own caliber". They also have some graphics and logos with the motto, "Armed gays don't get bashed".
As of June 2016, they had 36 chapters across the United States and as of April of 2017, the organization claimed to have over 9,000 members. Much of their current membership was gained after the Orlando nightclub shooting in 2016.
The organization makes clear that members do not actually need to be LGBT, but simply support the right of all people to keep and bear arms and defend themselves.
