The AMT Hardballer was a series of stainless steel 1911-style handguns manufactured by Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT) from 1977 to 2002. It appears it was also made under the Galena Industries brand from about 1998 to 2001, before they were acquired by Crusader Gun Company of Houston, Texas. The AMT Hardballer series was likely the first entirely stainless steel 1911 handgun, though this needs verification. Some notable features are its adjustable rear sights, and lengthened grip safety.

Name-wise, the Hardballer (probably) derives its name from the classic G.I. "hardball" .45 ACP ammunition it was intended to fire, which has a solid round-nose 230 gr. full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the Hardballer and all of its variants include a brushed stainless steel finish. It also has a wide target style trigger, as well as an adjustable trigger stop. The later pistols manufactured by Galena Industries have an elongated "beavertail" grip safety, and a beveled magazine well.
